Two Ticks for Harris Associates

Harris Associates is positive about disabled people – and that’s official. We’ve just been awarded the accolade of a ‘two ticks’ user, the disability symbol that says we’re equally committed to employing people with disabilities and health conditions.

The award illustrates Harris’ fully inclusive employment strategies, and also demonstrates further allegiance with its client Remploy, the UK’s leading provider of specialist employment services for people who experience complex barriers to employment.

“Having this accreditation is important to us,” said director Tim Crowther. “It makes a very clear statement to clients, suppliers, colleagues and future candidates that we judge ourselves only on the quality of our service and that ability, rather than disability, is far more important to our business.”

The award was presented to Tim and co director Neil Craven by Tina Williamson and Robert Cummins from Jobcentre Plus.
