Bloomin’ marvellous radio – and that’s official!
Our PR Director is bloomin’ marvellous – or at least his Sunday morning radio programme on BBC Radio Leeds is. In the inaugural Gardening Gold awards, readers of BBC Gardeners’ World magazine have named Tim Crowther and co-presenter Joe Maiden as Britain’s favourite regional gardening radio presenters – and they should know!
In the final rankings, ‘Tim and Joe on BBC Radio Leeds’ (broadcast live on Sundays between 9 and 11am) was tucked in just behind Radio Four’s Gardeners’ Question Time, which reaches a national audience. So, Tim and Joe are thrilled with their result.
And what’s more, the orchid on Tim’s office desk is springing back into flower… life’s good!
