What was the brief?

Taken out of ‘Special Measures’ in 2013, Thistley Hough Academy in Stoke-on-Trent drew up plans to transform the school into an ‘Outstanding’ Centre of Excellence over a five-year period.

To help in the transformation process it was necessary to reach out to parents and students via a film to communicate the vision of the new academy – an academy to which everyone is proud to belong and an academy where individuality along with traditional values is encouraged.

What did we do?

We created a colourful promotional film for Thistley Hough Academy, which used interviews with faculty, students and parents as well as striking cinematic visuals to put across the Academy’s key messages and facilities to an audience of prospective students and parents.

What did the client say?

“Filming in a school on a day-to-day basis is pretty challenging so I am really impressed with the way the team came in and worked with the staff and students. Everyone reported being put at ease by the team and actually enjoying the process!”
